A life of service, study and quiet devotion.
Pandit Rajesh Tiwari is a qualified and experienced Hindu priest based in Melbourne. He holds an Acharya qualification from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi, reflecting nine years of gurukul studies in Sanskrit learning, Hindu scriptures and traditional religious practices.
Panditji began serving as a priest in 1994. Over more than three decades, he has guided families through important Hindu pujas, weddings, havans, kathas and sanskar ceremonies. His experience includes Satyanarayan Puja, Griha Pravesh, Hindu weddings, Rudrabhishek, Namkaran, Navagraha Shanti, Vastu Shanti and many other traditional ceremonies observed throughout the different stages of family life.
In 2009, Panditji began serving the Hindu community in Melbourne. Since then, he has helped families preserve their religious traditions while conducting ceremonies in a manner that is respectful, organised and suitable for life in Australia.
Panditji understands that customs can differ between families, regions and communities. He takes the time to discuss each family's ceremony, required samagri, preferred date, location and any particular traditions that should be observed. Where appropriate, he also explains the meaning and sequence of important rituals so family members can understand and participate in the ceremony.
His approach combines formal religious education, long-standing practical experience and respect for each family's traditions. Whether conducting an intimate home puja or a full Hindu wedding ceremony, Panditji aims to create a calm, sincere and spiritually meaningful environment.
Based in Melbourne, Pandit Rajesh Tiwari serves families across metropolitan Melbourne and selected surrounding areas of Victoria. Families are encouraged to contact him directly to discuss the ceremony, availability, travel arrangements and suitable muhurat.
